Tags

Label contacts for filtering, segments, and (soon) broadcasts. Apply tags from any contact's detail page or in bulk from the contacts list.

How tags work
  • Apply tags from a contact's detail page, or in bulk from the contacts list. This page is just for creating, renaming, and recoloring them.
  • Filter & segment: tags drive contact filters and saved segments — useful for things like VIP, Past Due, or Source: Yard Sign.
  • Click a usage count to jump straight to the contacts list filtered by that tag.
  • Tag names are case-insensitive (VIP and vip are the same tag). Colors are optional and only affect the chip's appearance.
  • Naming tip: short, consistent labels work best. Use prefixes like source: or status: to group related tags.
  • Deleting a tag removes it from every contact it was applied to; the contacts themselves are untouched.

Delete tag

Deleting removes it from contacts. The contacts stay; only the assignments are deleted. This can't be undone.
